synopsis

I only knew her dramatic name and a few pictures by the old American photographer Ansel Adams. I knew she was somewhere in the desert between the Sierra Nevada and Las Vegas. Over the years, I had crystallized on her all my desires to escape, to reunite with myself and to discover the unknown. In 1978, at the age of 45, at a time in life when it is often a question of taking stock, Jeanloup Sieff, a famous photographer, renowned for his nudes, his fashion images and his portraits of celebrities, released a mythical book that was quickly sold out, never republished.
